Pink skies this morning on what has probably been the calmest day of the year so far. Pale salmon pinks and dusky grey cloud-wisps surrounded the Waternish peninsula as the sun rose - unusual to see 360 degrees of pure colour on any morning, let alone one in January.
This picture went through several re-inventions as the clouds moved across the sky and I struggled to assemble the composition. Sometimes it doesn't matter how big or small the paper is, some drawings just flow more fluidly than others!
