Back from Skye late last night and am recovering from the journey today. Feels strange not being by the sea. So today I've adopted a different style in the event of not having my landscape pastels or the actual sea in front of me. It's still the Waternish headland but outlined from a view I saw on Christmas Day - in a tangled ink abstract way (ink with a watercolour pencil overlay).
I'm trying to develop my landscape views and workings during this 30in30 so we'll see how it transpires....the white horses are on my list of things to capture (of the Wiltshire landscape, I'm not actually planning to catch horses!) but we'll see how the inspiration pans out.
