Come in, come in! Mind my lanterns. Look at them burning so brightly, aren’t they pretty? Makes you want to sing doesn’t it? Good job you’re here. Gather round. How about a spot of Good King Wenceslas?
It’s Christmas! I’m all ready and waiting for the big day. Notice my red decorations and twinkly lights 😊. Now when’s Santa arriving so I can get them to polish my handles?
‘Ok, you can decorate me’ she huffs. ‘Just don’t make me too flashy like her down the road’. So she’s been subtly festooned and secretly quite likes her berries and ribbons (she won’t let you know it though!).
Sitting snuggly under her frothy red surround, she peers out from her new fringe to see if her neighbours have a garland as glamorous as she.
She had forgotten how much she loves bows. They’ve transformed her deep brown eyes and usual greenery and made her feel unaccustomedly festive. You’ll see her twinkling beneath her wreath and hoping Santa remembers her too.
