Loftily lingering over the bay, the clouds are taking their time to decide when and where to shed the next load of snow. They collude and curl, one deciding to advance and then the other, as if advancing towards a turning skipping rope in a playground. Then all at once the breeze gathers and momentum is mustered - the large flakes fall like pale blossom leaves into the churning waves below.
