Autumnal sketches from Skye

Feeling privileged to see the beauty of Autumn as it emerges this week - just a few days of drawing this time, and am trying out different subjects (ie the field was all I could see one day and the colours were so fabulous!). The saying of 'the calm before the storm' sprang to mind during a surprising amount of sunshine this week - and Storm Abigail is meant to hit the western isles this evening. Back up there again at the end of the month, weather and snow gates permitting :)
