The energy had been building and frankly everything just felt too crowded and heavy. Clouds lurched and jostled to cram into the space that everyone wanted, just above the mountain tips which was optimum in the focused travel. The mainstream greys turned to angry purples as the mood gathered both concentrated momentum and depressive fug as inevitability set the tone.
Then something shifted. New versions and new colours started to be glimpsed as the breeze made for natural breathability and a soft glow began to appear, warmth and optimism touched the edges of the crowded clots. Elbows seemed less sharp as the light reached in and lightened the mood. The journey was left to manage its own mood. Beauty and contrast were celebrated in their own right, not seen as limelight stealers.
