Thick mist and rain have been sweeping across the bay today - visibilty has been scant, the Uists well and truly hidden from even a mere glimpse. So I drew the sepia-infused density that I could see. An art teacher once told me that a view or object is never just one hue if one looks closely enough. That was certainly true of what was apparently pure grey mist initially this morning. I like the subtlety of this type of view as much as the bright and colourful ones - the reality of going outside involves wind-driven rain though, never good for the glasses or frizz-factor...wellies and waterproofs aplomb!
