Soft gentle layers of anaemic candy floss rumble across the sea. It's odd how gentle an impending downpour can appear. The stark blue shell of last week is well and truly hibernating today - nestled in blankets that divert all attention with their dramatic blue-greys as they bat their smudged lashes and advance.
