I've chosen florists as my shop front subject at present as I find that the creativity exuded from these shops around the world seems like no other - and I've discovered that I like painting rambling blooms! My Shop Front paintings are created using collage as a base layer and then painting in acrylic using a palette knife. The combination of the collage and palette knife painting forms a textured effect that draws your eye into all the nooks and crannies that the paint and pattern have settled into.
