Dense grey clouds cluster over mountains and seas as the day closes and they hunker down for the night. The suns rays have lowered their brilliance but the skies are stoically optimistic and retain a semblance of the bright blue hues that permeated the day. Fragments of cloud soar amongst the pale remains, like lacy hankies dropped by ladies in centuries past. Fragile at first glance, but actually determined to explore their new found freedom under the cover of dusk.
