Using doorways as my inspiration, door#2 is part of my 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge for February 2020. I've created door#2 using collage as a base layer and then painting in acrylic using a palette knife. The combination of the collage and palette knife painting forms a textured effect that draws your eye into all the nooks and crannies that the paint and pattern have settled into.
