Using doorways as my inspiration, Soul Flame Door is part of my Abstract Doorways Collection. I've created Soul Flame Door using collage as a base layer and then painting in acrylic using a palette knife. The combination of the collage and palette knife painting forms a textured effect that draws your eye into all the nooks and crannies that the paint and pattern have settled into.

It's been a day of turmoil in so many ways and her mind is threatening to let all those judgements take root, change her colours, make her fade. She unwinds her hair, sees a sparkling glisten in the strands and reminds herself of the flame in her soul that she keeps burning for days like this.
