Using doorways as my inspiration, Resolute Door is part of my Doorways Collection. I've created Resolute Door using collage as a base layer and then painting in acrylic using a palette knife. The combination of the collage and palette knife painting forms a textured effect that draws your eye into all the nooks and crannies that the paint and pattern have settled into.

Staunchly set under a heavy-thatched fringe, she’s gleamingly resolute in her standing. She may be a little dishevelled (it’s been a long night) but can hold her own with any the others.
