Using doorways as my inspiration, It's Christmas Door is part of my Doorways Collection for Christmas. I've created It's Christmas Door using collage as a base layer and then painting in acrylic using a palette knife. The combination of the collage and palette knife painting forms a textured effect that draws your eye into all the nooks and crannies that the paint and pattern have settled into.
